This is a great way to share tweets with the same keyword or hashtag.
1. Click on SETTINGS at the bottom of the animation image
2. Type the Keyword or hashtag, select the animation type, speed. Click SAVE SETTINGS.
3. Click SHARE to grab the embed code for publishing
First, I tried one with the Keyword "anamariacult", my webname.
Then, one with the hashtag #EdmodoCon , a Virtual Conference taking place next week, 10 August.

12 seconds
This is a site I had heard before but hadn´t tried yet, you need to have an invite though. You can record 12-second videos with your webcam or mobile, then post it or have it sent directly to twitter. So, instead of having written updates you can also use video. As you might have imagined 12 seconds is a very short time so you have to be very objective in what you say or show (just like in twitter). Just below is my first trial.
How can we use this tool with students?
Well, the best post I´ve read about this was written by Nik Peachey and my suggestion is that you go straight to his post to read all the great suggestion he´s given to teachers. Really worth reading.

My TWITTER experience
Twitter is used for microblogging and what is that? People write what they are doing at the moment in a maximum of 140 words. Not only do people write what they´re doing but they post questions and even reply to their friends. I decided to record my trip to argentina in TWITTER as I travelled and I´ve been told that lots of people enjoyed following my adventure. Mary Hillis an e-colleague (have I coined a term? guess not) from Japan has done a survey in twitter recently and this is another usage people are discovering for twitter.
What I like about twitter?
- I like the speed.
- I like the fact that you´re not expected to write a masterpiece but only something short.
- I like the asynchronous interaction it establishes.
after you have a twitter account.
