PhotoFunia - a fun photo editor
I've written about various photo editors where you can add your picture to a preset template. With PhotoFunia, besides having cool images you can use, you can also make animated images from your pictures. After downloading your picture, you have the alternative to save it to your computer, send it as a postcard, grab the embed code or save as an avatar.

More photo effects you can use to colour your blogs. http://photo505.com/
I used Picture Trail to show the images I created. Pass the mouse over the images and you'll see what happens.

Playing with Loonapix
I just LOVE playing with photo editing tools. With Loonapix you can add effects to your pictures, add borders/ frames, trim the photo and also add your face to movie posters or to other characters.
But how can we use this in an educational context?

But how can we use this in an educational context?
- well, first, you can use it to publish photos you´ve taken in the classroom for example.
- you can also have sts play with it and then describe the changes. Ex. He used to have short blond hair, now he has long black hair.
- You can use the images for teaching adjectives for describing people´s appearance.
- Any other ideas?

I am 60
http://iam60.puma.com/#EN/
After reading messages at the Images4education Ning (Bob Sprankle´s message) , I learned about a very funny tool for playing with photos. You upload your photo and can see yourself in different hairstyles, accessories. It´s really fun.
How can we use this with students?
- You could make a slideshows of pictures you´ve created with iam60 and use it when teaching how to describe people physically.
- You could also ask students to do the same with one of their photos, write a description, and then publish it in a class blog or a personal webpage.
- If you´re using edmodo, you could do the same described above and ask students to share photo (edited) and description w/ the group.

Playing with photo editing
Yesterday, we literally had a delicious class. We celebrated 4 birthdays in one day, mine, Thais´, Marcelo´s and Julia´s. Each student brought either a snack or a drink and we used the last minutes of class to have a GOOD TIME. Now that I decided to share the pictures, here I am playing with some photo editors. It´s such great fun!
First , using slide.com, I added a message to a picture where Karol appears eating one of the snacks
Then, with dumpr.net, I created a scene where someone is taking our picture (the niver people) ahahahaha

Created with dumpr.net - fun with your photos

some more effects from slide.com

Blowing 4 candles, collaborative work!
